Wizkid has hoisted the Nigerian flag again, so high that the world can see it. This time, the singer created another iconic performance by filling out the O2 Arena in London for his Afrorepublik Festival.
The Starboy gathered an audience of 20,000 African music enthusiasts to experience the purity and beauty of the African sound. He treated them to classic performances of his hit songs including No Lele and Manya; and the performance lasted for hours. Interestingly, none of it was boring or without fun. It was all sparks and high-spirit.
Knowing how loved Wizkid is, it is no surprise that other artists like Mr Eazi, Tekno, Maleek Berry, Not3s, Tiwa Savage & Skepta came out to support him to the delight of the grateful fans, many of whom have taken to social media to rave about Wizkid’s ‘Afrorepublik Festival.’ Most of them are saying they experienced greatness last night.
The show was streamed live via Starboy TV‘s official YouTube channel.
